Universal Music Group Stole Our Music

Okay, can someone explain to me how Universal is STILL trying to fight the internet? A better question, why hasn’t Universal figured out that people hearing your artist’s music IS SUPPOSED TO BE YOU’RE JOB. You’re a major fucking player in the music industry which NEWS FLASH, changes a lot.  How can you do that while absolutely refusing to adapt your business to the culture and reality around it? How are you not aware of what is going on in your industry? Do you seriously think that is a good business model? You don’t sell records anymore.  Instead of trying to beat that dead horse, you accept that and embrace the internet, and start figuring out what you can do to make the current state of the industry work for you.  People have been saying the music industry was dead from the first printed music.  Sheet music was going to “ruin the music industry” for those who performed it…then recording music was going to ruin that, and now guess what; the internet has ruined what you previously did in the music industry. IT FUCKING CHANGES A BUNCH, OKAY?! FUCKING ADAPT. Universal, you are making yourself more and more irrelevant constantly.  I look forward to the day, that I suspect to be in the near future, where we don’t have to deal with your shit at all.
